news date: Tuesday, June 12, 2007
The 69 airline companies operating out of MalagaAirport have expansion plans, and they include the establishment of about a hundred routes that one can fly to from the capital of the Costa del Sol without stopping along the way, linking this country with the rest of the world in the quickest way possible.
New direct routes will be established to European cities like Frankfurt, where the Hahn airport will be used, and the city of Bremen, which has not had direct routes to Malaga in the past.
This summer, Malaga also has a direct link with the city of Salamanca. There are very few regions of Spain that the people of Malaga province cannot get to quickly this summer.
Malaga has become the second city in Spain for the number of low-cost flights operating in its airport, after Barcelona.
