Getting a job in Spain is not always easy and when you don’t have a personal contact and don’t speak Spanish it’s even harder. It is quite common for Spanish people to get jobs through personal contacts but not the same story for a foreigner wanting to live in Spain So what do you do if you want to live and work in the sunshine?

There are a few recruitment agencies along the Costa del Sol who specialize in placing individuals with the following skill sets: Sales, Marketing, IT, Accounts, Administrators and Receptionists for non Spanish and are doing very well.

The main stumbling block is that companies are very wary of recruitment agencies, some prefer to place an ad themselves and sift through CVs wasting their time when it could be spent making more money for their company. They do not always know how to interview and so often end up taking on the wrong person for the job and then find they have to keep re-recruiting.

It has been an education for companies along the Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca whereby for so long there has not been an international recruitment agency helping people from abroad to get jobs in Spain. Well, not until Wemploy Recruitment Specialists came along. They get over 330,000 hits on their website a month, have their head office in Fuengirola and soon expect to have a new office on the Costa Blanca.  They also have clients in Madrid, Barcelona and Gibraltar and have an international division that deals with the rest of Europe.

All candidates need to do when they register is to log on to the website and fill in the c.v template and they can apply to jobs on line.
