The volvo masters golf tournament which attracted 50,000 people to the San Roque area last weekend (9th Nov 07) is now in it’s 20th consecutive year. The competition which was expected to generate some 10 Million euros is to be given the full support of the Junta de Andalucia until at least 2010 according to Head of Tourism Sergio Moreno. This year alone the regional government contributed €1,624,00 to the event; a figure which is set to rise to 1,798,000 by 2010.
