A superb opportunity for an experienced Employer’s Agent to join the expansion of a development in Gibraltar has become available.
Working on a Design and Build project, the role will be to liaise effectively with all members of the project team from contractors to consultants taking on the responsibility to co-ordinate them on behalf of the employer.
You will perform a range of typical Agent duties including (but not limited to)
- Coordinating project teams including liaising with client, contractor and consultants at all project stages
- Preparation and checking of budgets, producing monthly cost reports and ensuring work is completed to budget
- Administering work on site, ensuring all parties deliver their required accountabilities
- Ensuring compliance with required regulations
- Ensuring build meets required deadlines
We envisage the role will be the equivalent of 3 days per week but may be more dependent on projects undertaken.
Experience/skills required:
You will have extensive experience in construction management with a solid background in large residential and / or commercial developments and preferably with “high spec” quality builds.
Strong computer skills and high levels of numeracy and literacy are essential as well as the ability to solve problems, work on your own initiative and push projects forward.
Candidates with a QS background will be at an advantage as will those with the ability to speak Spanish.
