A progressive entertainment company in Gibraltar with a growing and changing business are looking to recruit an experienced chef to join their busy team.
The successful individual will have worked in this environment before, preparing food for numbers up to 500 people in peak periods and have the understanding and ability to potentially lead a small team of chefs.
The menu will be based on a char-grilled theme and is not complicated, you would be required to work shifts on a 24/7 based rota working 40 hours a week.
The right individual will be able to ensure a high quality preparation and presentation of food whilst maintaining standards, maintain strict portion control and wastage in order to obtain gross profit, maintain wages and staff costs in the kitchen as per budget through effective manning levels, assist the hospitality manager in running the department efficiently and economically against budget and monitor conduct and behaviour of staff, reinforcing standards where appropriate and recognising achievements.
Ideally the right individual will be bi-lingual speaking English and Spanish and an excellent salary package is on offer for the right individual.
