Our client is a financial institute based here in Gibraltar looking for an experienced stockbroker with 'four eyes'
The successful individual will undertaking the provision of investment advice to clients and be responsible for assisting in the performance of the role for their “Four eyes”.
KEY INTERFACES
Internal:
Managing Director (direct report)
Chairman and Board of the company
Function heads of all operational and corporate functions
External:
Clients
Regulatory and Legal Authorities (FSC)
Principal Service Providers
Other relevant supplier relationships
Trade associations and similar bodies
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Ensure company remains legal and compliant with respective legal and regulatory regimes
•Ensure company is compliant with legal regulatory requirements of respective regulatory authorities and jurisdictions
•Ensure that a strong business risk assessment and risk management infrastructure is in place
•Provide technical guidance and support to company on legal/regulatory and compliance requirements and reporting
•Cover for Compliance Officer during holidays/other absence
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
•Advanced knowledge and understanding of the stock exchange and private client portfolio management
•Understanding of management information reporting and the use of such facilities to assist in the business process
•Understanding of project planning and project management techniques
•Experience in enabling a clear definition of risk appetite, risk governance and risk mitigation for the business
•Experience in managing and meeting regulatory and statutory reporting deadlines, working with other executive colleagues as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Member or Fellow of The Securities Institute with 5 years experience.
