Due to expansion this small insurance company dealing solely with the UK market has created the position of Operations Assistant.
The role will involve providing administrative support in areas such as credit control, claims, underwriting, product management and general office tasks.
The successful candidate will have good planning and organisational skills enabling them to manage a task independently. Their focus on attention to detail will ensure that they produce accurate work.
Flexibility is a key attribute as the role spans a number of different business functions. As is the ability to learn – developing an understanding of these key business areas.
Strong communication skills are required as the role involves contact with clients, other businesses and with the management team.
Responsibilities include: - Monthly Account Reconciliation, Policy System Updates, Product Updates, Claim Referrals, Indemnity Referrals, Underwriting Referrals, Complaint recording and handling, Collation of MI statistics, other ad hoc tasks as required.
No previous insurance industry experience is necessary although it would be preferred. The successful candidate will receive training for the role, as required.
The candidate should be educated to A-level standard and have achieved GCSE pass grades in Maths and English.
