Our client is a leading supplier of services to the global aerospace, defence and energy industries.
You will initially be reporting to the Service Centre Business Development Manager located in Castellon, Spain and you will be providing both technical and customer service 24-hour support to the company’s customers.
Core duties will be to:-
• Provide technical support and maintenance to customers in the field by dismantling, cleaning, repairing, inspecting, assembling, and or testing customer engines, power plant packages and or accessories.
• Act as a liaison with production, engineering, sales and customers in resolving customer problems and complaints.
• Maintain written reports on all incidents, accidents, problems and complaints regarding engines.
In order to secure this job you will have relevant experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic controls systems (GE Micronet or Rustronics, an asset), on turbine engines, previous education and or experience with electrical systems and instrumentation are an asset. Previous experience with gas turbines is an asset, particularly the model LM1600.
In addition your controls/electrical skills will be complemented by your ability to work hands-on on turbines and mechanical systems.
Some other requirements will be that you will be required to travel locally and internationally, fluency in English is essential and working knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
